Why We Exist
We started Kind Steward Foundation because we believe that giving should actually change lives, not get lost along the way.
Our board members have spent years supporting charitable causes. Over time, a pattern became clear: donations were mismanaged, impact was unclear, and there was little accountability for how funds were used. After enough of those experiences, the answer became simple. If you truly want to make a difference, sometimes you have to do it yourself.
As Christians, we believe that everything we have is a gift from God and that we are called to give generously. But Scripture also calls us to be good stewards. Generosity without accountability is incomplete. That conviction is at the heart of this foundation. We created Kind Steward so that every dollar, every resource, and every hour of effort is directed with purpose, transparency, and care.
Our board members are active, working professionals who lead busy lives. They did not start this foundation because they had extra time. They started it because they could no longer accept the alternative. We hold each other accountable, we stay close to the work, and we make sure that the people we serve actually receive the help that was intended for them.
Our Mission
Kind Steward Foundation is a private foundation providing direct humanitarian assistance in Ethiopia and the United States.
Our primary focus is funding life changing medical operations in Ethiopia, working alongside trusted partners on the ground to reach individuals who would otherwise go without treatment. Beyond medical care, we support community development initiatives in the region, including clean water access and other projects that address the needs of local communities. Here in the United States, we partner with churches, charities, and good causes, with an emphasis on communities in New York, Texas, and Florida.
